Grant Tregidga Builders have been building in the Kaipara area for over 20 years. With a modest team of builders we cover a wide range of work from farm buildings through to architectural homes.  Grant Tregidga Builders Limited are Licensed Building Practitioners holding a site 2 class license.

We are proud to be and have been for many years a business member of Certified Builders Association of NZ.  This has allowed us to offer clients extra benefits with building projects, insurances, contracts and guarantees with our commitment to getting it right first time.  We have quality workmanship, excellent project management and communication with clients, builders & subbies.

About Grant:

I served my time locally here in Dargaville, starting my apprenticeship at 16 years of age. I completed 8,500 hours combined with block courses to complete my apprenticeship at 20 years of age. As a young man left New Zealand for a short time in the UK. Stopping in Australia on my way home for nearly 2 years where I worked my trade with a firm by the name of Kingston Construction, building mostly light commercial. Back to NZ where I continued work in Auckland before deciding to return to Dargaville where I married my wife Janine and raised two fine boys. Now; nearly 30 something years later I'm still here. I enjoy my work and being actively involved with projects I encourage my client involvement and take great pride and pleasure in delivering what they want.
